On June 7th 2010 Kurdish National Congress of North America (KNC-NA) held its election after its three day annual conference at San Diego State University.
The majority of voters elected Dr. Kamal Artin as the new president of KNC-NA. Other elected members include Mr. Issa Mosa, the vice president, Mr. Nyma Ardalan, the secretary, Mr. Dyari Ahmad, the treasurer, Mrs. Muazaz Aziz, Mrs. Sorray Fallah, and Mr. Ihsan Afrini, and Mr. Luqman Barwari the other four directors of the board. Due to other commitments, one of the elected board members could not continue to be on the board and his spot is vacant until he is substituted by a qualified member.
The new boards of directors plan to follow the foot steps of past presidents and board of directors, learn form their achievements, avoid their mistakes, and serve the Kurdish people by promoting the mission of the Kurdish National Congress of North America, a free and united Kurdistan.
